Im sure it works for something but I havent had time to test it. I know only the basics so I am not sure if 97w requires readjusting your dish a different direction or a matter of just tuning 97w in and loading the bin. If I get a chance Ill look into it later

Correction that should say Bin 136. This is how it reads
This is an old bin that works for GC (97.0W)
Keys must be entered manually.

Were we up???

We've been down since several days ago.

cs5k has been out since may 7th. If you were up, just bless your luck.

Now testing a nFusion Nova. Formerly testing a CS6K clone. Willing to keep testing it if bins are available.

Don't have one. Just in general to fix freezing.

Been so much talk about other receivers, never sure if someone is referring to the 5000 or not.

Things could be interesting. Someone has stated that they are working with a Coolsat 4000 and using Pansat 2500->2700 conversion bins and talking about useing the cam slot/(cardreader) to run with atmega 128.

Whatever that is. Admins and mods are calling him out now and think he's full of BS. LOL

Hey guy's. The c/s 5 is screwed as far as most of us are concerned. Does anyone know what the worst will happen if some other bin is loaded? I guess if it is useless, I am buying another box anyway. The hell with it I am gonna experiment with it. I will let you know

Please don't get me wrong, I do like the c/s . Over the v/s ultra I like the c/s way better. I was just thinking if the security was compromised originally, what are the odds something will match. If I try one what will happen??

I dont think bill wants his dongle fondled, although he can speak/type for himself. =)

What exactly do you want to try-- that pansat conversion listed above?? The only way it might work is if the Coolsat being converted happens to use the same chip set as the Pansat. Even with same chipsets there are usually some wiring differences to the main processor that each manufacturer does just to stop such a trick. Usually not a big difference and if it can be changed easily if might be possible. In some cases the files can be written to work around the differences but it would require someone that knows the inside workings of each box. Good idea if it can be done. I would guess if the bin doesn't match, the receiver will reject it and not load. Just a guess.

Jerry
