Burning to dvd without dvd burner

    I need to burn a large number of .avi files that exceeds the limits of a cd-r, so I want to use omse sort of dvd disc to hold the information. Only problem is, I don't have a dvd burner. Are cd burners incapable of burning any information to a dvd disc, or are they just not able to burn dvd video to one?

    You can only burn to a DVD with a DVD burner. A CD burner will not work.
