Optorite DD0405 problems

    I have recently purchased an Optorite DD0405 DVD+/- burner. However when I try to copy onto a DVD i get Power Calibration errors. I can burn to CDRs fine, but not to DVDs. Could this be because I am using cheep DVDs or could there be another cause of this problem.

    Power calibration errors,are more times than not,a direct result of bad media.
    If you change media, and still get the error,then you may have a bad burner.
