My cd-r drive broke and so dell sent me a new one, i was using adaptec as my burning program but now it says it cannot detect a cd burning device but i can burn single tracks very very slowly using real one player. Ths burner they sent me did not come with any software, and i cannot get it to work besides using real one which is very slow and fusks up a lot. According to real one it detects that i have a: LG CD-RW CED-8120B . Anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong, thanks.
go to the manufacturers site and see what software is compatible with the burner. use a fully working software to give you the proper burning speeds.
