huh now it says i have to have a CD-RW for this kind of Job And i dont have CD-RW i only have CD-Rom. What do i do???
I have a little trouble reading/understading your post, but it seems to me that you ask how to make a .CUE file. Now this is a direct copy & paste from the READ1ST thread that you said you have read. Summary: Make it manually with notepad, save, burn. ---- 3) I have a .BIN file but no .CUE? .CUE can be made with just Notepad. A typical Playstation(One or 2) .CUE file looks like this: FILE "IMAGE.BIN" BINARY TRACK 1 MODE2/2352 INDEX 1 00:00:00 A typical PC CD-ROM .CUE looks like this: FILE "IMAGE.BIN" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE1/2352 INDEX 01 00:00:00 Notice the difference of the track mode - PC-ROMs being Mode 1, Playstations CDs Mode 2 and (Super)Video CDs are also MODE2/2352.
i have made a .CUE file but when i click on Write CD they say i need CD-RW but i dont have some i only have CD-R
If you want to convert between file formats (BIN->ISO), then I think CDMage was the right tool for the job. Note that changing format doesn't benefit you in any way. Try burining it with BlindWrite or Alcohol.
Hustla, Biosgain, 705mb should fit to a 700mb CD-R quite nicely. Test with simulation mode if you need verification.
quote: "i have made a .CUE file but when i click on Write CD they say i need CD-RW but i dont have some i only have CD-R " Hustla, I have had this error with the latest version of Nero, and have been able to get around this by changing mode from TAO to DAO, (disk at once). Let me know if this works for you too!
You DON'T NEED EXOTIC CDs in order to burn >700 MB images. A 74 min CD (650 MB data) can contain images up to 747 MB! This because they are "RAW images" and they are burned 2352 bytes/sectors instead of 2048 bytes/sectors (so you gain 14% disk space). So, create an appropriate .CUE file (cut-and-paste from above. If VCD type MODE2/2352), open it with, for instance, CDRWin (The Simplest burning apps) and go! Your image will fit on a 74 min CD.
i try to burn it with Nero but it dint work. I burned it with CD MAte but it dint turn in a .ISO what do i do???
Hustla: Why in the f*ck you haven't still tried proper image writing softwares like Alcohol or BlindWrite?!
