Do all DVD-R's Play in PS2's for movies

I have only tried Verbatim ones so far. Im making home movies to send to all my friends and family and 90% only have PS2's as their only DVD player.

Do all PS2s play DVD-R ?

Answer :- NO

Which ones do ?

Version 3 upwards

How do I know what version I have ?

Can't remember, but there are lots of sites on the web that tell you.

magic 2 modchip

also, i've heard about problems with dvd-r discs, i heard some of the do not work, do you know and dvd-r discs that are good and work. Also, is there instructions on nero to tell me how to copy the games?

As far as game back ups playing I dont know,But for home burned DVD's Verbatim 2x ones work but both Pioneer and Verbatim DVD-RW's dont work for movies.
