i have a game on my computer i wanna transfer it to my xbox and put it on the xbox hardrive what do i need to do that? can i use a cross over cable? and do i need special software or anything else thanks
Ok you need a modded xbox with a dahsboard with FTP ability (evox). then download flashfxp to FTP to your xbox(type in xbox ip user=xbox pass=xbox) you need to extract the iso, use craxtion to do this. Then put the files you get into a folder (called what the game is called) Now FTP the game folder to your e:games folder (if you dont have a games folder make one) if you are using an upgraded HDD send to f:games.
quick question... after you patch it with craxtion and get ready to transfer it to you computer, do you transfer over the iso file that you just extracted? Because everytime i do it doesn't show up on my computer. Any help? Thanks in advance! -Kevvy B
but my Xbox can not connect to my pc and my pc not to my Xbox my pc sends and the Xbox doesn't reply. i don't use a router only a cross cable. how do i configure my pc and Xbox right? can someone help me????
You should be able to change your IP in the dashboard .ini file. Make sure it says static IP. What dashboard are you using?
i changed my Xbox ip and the other settings. i turned use static ip on. but my pc still can't connect. what must i do now??
It sounds like there is a problem with the FTP client software. I dont use anything on the XBOX. I have a static IP on the XBOX, let it boot up to the dashboard screen. My PC will only talk to the XBOX while it is on the main dashboard screen. I have a static IP on my PC, connect the crossover cable. Then I ping the XBOX, and get a reply. Then I start FlashFXP, set up a new site with the xbox settings, you may need to enter a username/password. Mine with the evox dash is xbox/xbox.
