usb boot

    Can i boot windows me from a usb hdd (40 Gb)?
    My board suport boot from usb, and i've managed to start my pc with a flash disk (128 mb)like a startup disk for windows 98.
    Can anyone help-me

    if motherboard supports boot from usb than yes

    Check your bios setup and see if it has that option to select.

    Yes, my mother board suports the boot from usb-fdd and usbzip. but i canĀ“t solve the problem of instaling the windows on the external hdd.

    check motherboard site for bios update & faq concerning booting from usb hd
