I've read that they were originally mono tuners, BUT....if you click on this other forum: http://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=247520 and scroll down toward the bottom, the owner says his HD04 has a stereo tuner!!! Is this only newer models, or what?
I have done may tests to see if the HD04 tuner is stereo and it isn't. If the user is running through an A/V receiver with any type of processing going on, it will sound as if it were stereo because of the processing, not the signal. I have a feeling that is the case with the user in the Videohelp forum
