I know there has been other threads on this but i didnt find any links to find the software that i need ...i have the data cable i juts need the software and i cant find it anywhere ...someone please help.
go here first: http://www.cellphonemall.net/wireless/store/c_data_cables.asp Download the USB Driver. Look at the end of the row that starts with "Motorola (USB)". Unzip the file, then turn your phone on and connect it to your PC. When asked where the drivers are, point Windows to the directory where you unzipped the driver file. Cross your fingers and hope it finds the driver. Then go here: http://coma.fsb.hr/motorola/files/ My recommended method. Download the following: 1. Motorola_MobilePhoneTools_1.23c_EN.zip 2. mobilePhoneTools_2.16_US - update.exe Install both of those. Reboot after each one. Do not start the program! If presented with dialog asking you whether you want to start the program now, select NO or somehow indicate that you do not. Keep your phone connected and turned on during the entire process. After you have rebooted the second time, start Phone Tools, create your profile or simply choose "Default." Hopefully the program will start up and initialize your phone properly. If it does, try to Live Update the software to the latest version. Hope this helps.
