What is the befference between no solder and soldering modchip

What is the defference between no solder modemchip and soldering modchip. Do they work the same in playing copy dvd game. Would both of them play copyed dvd game for the ps2. Cause im getting a no solder modchip with that swap magic dick to play copyed ps2 dvd game. Its aloat easyer to install thats why im getting. So would a no solder modchip work for playing copy dvd games.

That depends on what version PS2 you have.

I am not sure because i have the messiah chip.
Why not looking on the internet ? That's the way (in these times) to get all the information you want. Also about modchips...
