Comp. Shuts down when FTP'ing?

    can anyone explain why my computer shuts down when I am transfering files over to my xbox from my computer. I have been transfering files for months now with no problems and now it will get about 60-70 MB into the file and then my computer shuts down.
    I have two network cards, one for internet, one for network cable to xbox. I did just recently install Norton System Works, but I tried disabling it and then transfer with FlashXP and it still shut down. I am guessing it has something to do with Norton.

    ive had a few problems with norton system works 2005 aswell, such as dls on msn. but just check that computer isnt overheating, try leaving the side panel off while uploading files to your xbox

    Thanks for the help, but the funny thing is my side panel is already off, and my house is pretty cold. I keep the heat low to save cash so i don't think it is a heat problem.

    eeeerm, its possible its your psu. check if that it hot or not :)
