Ok im really new to modding and am a little confused.. i got the xbit chip did the pogopin install all is good.. fired up the xbox and was able to play my games.. now i flashed the bios with the evox m8 dont really know if i did that right.. dont notice any difference.. so i went to do the evolution dashboard.. downloaded it.. burnt the iso as a dvd image on a dvd+r and a dvd-r put them in and the xbox will not read them.. so i tried a cd-r and a cd-rw and still will not read them.. then i read somewhere i need some default file.. where do i get the default file from.. and what else do i need??
in your evox folder, you should have a bios, skins, evox.ini, evoxdash.xbe (or default.xbe), and maybe a trainers folder. maybe you have the wrong media. the dvd-rom drives usually don't read many types of media depending on which one you have. try different brands.
