Burning DVD from hard drive

    I'm totally lost. I am transferring some old eps of MST3K to DVD from VHS. I am unable to burn the Mpeg files directly to a DVD - I get an "Unable to create disk structure" error - So I burned it to the hard drive first, but now I can't figure out how to burn it from that to a DVD. Any help would be appreciated.

    1) What kind of files do you have on the HD?

    2) What burning program are you using?
