to be hones, i didnt bother to preorder mine because of the delays and junk so i just gave up on it. i'll see if i can find a shop selling it.... maybe.

Well... I have a subscription to Game Informer magazine, and according to the last issue that I received two weeks ago...

The remake of Final Fantasy 7 has been confirmed. Square/Enix has confirmed the remake of the game, and has further commented that the game's battle system will be the same system used in the upcoming Final Fantasy 12... That means real-time fighting with Ruby Weapon, boys!

I forgot who wanted to know where that picture was from and it's from a japanese anime. Although you might have found out about it by now. It's based on events that occured before the game. The Anime is called "Last Order Final Fantasy 7" hence it being the last order Cloud takes from Shira and or SOILDER.

FF12 Fighting on the remake... eww... They Should do FF13's fighting or stick to the original turn base in my opinion.

Ever though RealTime toe-to-toe with Ruby Weapon sounds fun! ^^

I agree with you Troten, i want a graphical upadate, not a gameplay revamp. Crisis Core also sounds like it might be a disappointment, seems like its shaping up to be more action oriented than it should be.

I think that they are gonna stick to the origional gameplay for ff13 but make a new gameplay for ff vs. 13 or thats what square enix says

But yes.. I want ff7's gameplay to stay the same and better graphic if nething at all.

Why play the game all over again! Only increasing the graphics isn't enough the old graphics are still cool today. It would be nice if the standard fighting system is kept but it needs alot more options and updrades. More items, more magic, more commands and maybe I know many fanboys will get mad but maybe you can encounter the enemies visibly before being attacked. For example you enter a room and it's in there you see it. So you run at or even better it runs at you, somewhat like the underappreciated Chrono Cross. Maybe a combo system can be added to the fighting system. But with all this said the old feeling must be there or it will fail horribly. The music is probably going to be enhanced like Advent Children. The main thing is the story must! remain intact.

Nice to be back :) Has anyone heard the lowdown on PS3 upgrades! There was an article on Gamepro interviewing a Sony representative... Very interesting, it seems they are trying to tap into the PC market, while alienating us console market! If there's no thread then I'll create on and post the link...

Agreed on the FFVII remake that "Ynoi" posted... But I would still like maybe a little story added... Such as Last Order's part (which by the way... strays fromt he games story line a bit) or something around that... maybe a longer flashback or... more interactions in that flashback.

I'm slowly getting more and more "away" fomr the PS3. I mean I loved the idea at first... and prolly still get one cus I'm a Sony fanboy but still... I don't like the way its trying to take to a PC instead of a Console... They should leave it as a console >>
