but upgrading and downgrading too much isnt safe, either pick ALL HOMEBREW or SOME HOMEBREW AND ALL UMD.

hey guys just wondering, does the 2.5 -> 2.0 or 1.5 downgrade work. Cuz if so that would be cool.. If theres like a new one or something that nebody knows about could u respond plz

there isnt anything that exists that can downgrade anything past 2.00 to 1.5. is this the 15th or 16th time weve gone over this guys, ive lost count? this isnt exactly pointed towards just you IMMickeyD, its to the 3 or 4 emails i get a day asking the o so famous"Can i play those, uuuh, whatcha called, o ya, homebrew games on a 2.6, or 2.5, or 2.01 psp??????????" or the "how do i downgrade a 2.6"(again, not pointed just at you IMMickeyD. no offence, but start reading the thread guys.

Got a question here, sorry if i posted on a wrong thread
Whats the difference between homebrew and firmware
Someapplication available for download warns abt that and say it will render ur psp useless does it mean you will not be able to use it again or repair it ?

you need umd emulator 8c
homebrew is programs you put on your psp. firmware is the internal software.

ya this sux, i hope they soon do get a downgrader working...
I on the other hand am quite satisfied because of my v1.5
its great finding more and more things to personalize the psp

Yup I also enjoy my Version1.5. The reason I was asking about a downgrader is because my retard cousin bought his psp from target. I told him not to buy one unless I am with him. I got my psp not that long ago and it had version 2.0 on it which was perfect for the MPH Downgrader. Well anyway I told him to get it from a local privately owned video game business, because they may have some older psp's, and the reason for this is because the place I bought my psp from they have alot of psp's but they don't sell them all and I called there the day my retarded cousin bought his psp, and I asked and they said they had an a version psp and 2 of them. But than I called my cousin and he said that he already bought one from Target and I was so pist off at him, because I have like 26 different Iso's (PSP Games) which I could've hooked him up with. So the bottom line is that my cousin is a retard. And also if anyone ever finds a homebrew to downgrade version 2.01 to 1.5 please post it in your comment thank you all.

I use the homebrew for my PSP. Im having problems w/it. It seams to cut off abit on each side. Am I doing it right. Also the games runs a bit slow. Is there a reason that it does that. Is there a way to fix this. please help me as to I also like to play the NES & SNES

for ur cousin if u are willing to spend 100 dolars u can buy a motherbaord replacement which makes his psp a 1.5, it works with all firmwares, but u have to open ur psp and replace the board.

No it's alright I already created a program to downgrade from FW2.01 to 1.5 since MPH lazy butt didn't want to do it. But thanks for your concern anyway.
