Hello there, i am trying to find an avi to dvd converter that will convert into full 4.3 format, because my tv isnt widescreen and the black bands annoy me. Anyway i thought i would try aare, but im confused because i thought when you convert and avi file into dvd format you get all these vob and ifo files etc, but this is converting into an mpg file, can i burn this onto a dvdr and play it on stand alone dvd players, or do i need to do something else with the mpg first!! Sorry this a long post
