    Could be the disc's or many other things.

    A Nero log would be a place to start.
    If you burn directly with Nero you have the option after a burn to save a log.

    If a program like DVD Shrink is running the Nero burn for you you may have to get a log from the history file.
    There should be a complete NeroHistory.log file in C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero

    We don't need that entire log because it contains a record of all your burns, but just the very last part of that log which will have information about your last burn failure. Be sure to remove your serial number when you post that part of the log.

    Starting from the last
    ====== *** Nero-Burning Rom, History File *** ======
    Name
    Location
    1A23-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX (serial number)
    Windows XP 5.1
    IA32

    ......Up To ......

    Registry Keys:
    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon\AllocateCDROMs : 0 (Security Option)

    InCD is a known problem on some systems for backing up DVD-Video disc's. Whenever there is a problem the InCD program should be uninstalled in Add/Remove Programs.
    Could be any or all of the above. Disc's, DMA, InCD, Firmware.
