Conveting problem Help please

    I have captured a vedio from my camera with firewire to AVI.Ok then i converted the avi to mpeg using tmpgenc.Then im trying durn to dvd using nero and the file does not show up as mpeg.the file is labeled as mpg and sow up using (allfiles)but it says it not compatible.i followed the direction guide using tmpgenc.Do you tink im missing something ? do i need to us infoedit? I have read plenty of post on how to do this and it just not working.

    If your converted with TMPGEnc and it is not recognized by Nero, you probably have not used the proper template in TMPGEnc. Make sure that you load the DVD-PAL or DVD-NTSC template.
    To make sure it is not a Nero problem, try anothe program for DVD authoring, like Ulead DVD MovieFactory. Great program and a 30 days trial is available from http://www.ulead.com
