Well first off my Subject isn't all that correct. What I mean is I have been backing up my old dvd's and they play fine in my PS2 and dvd player...but now after I back up newer movies (such as I Robot, The Forgotten, Collateral) they play in my PS2 fine but my dvd player will not play them? I have been looking through the other forums and I can not fine that type of topic. Any Suggestions?

Are you using the same media for the new movies?

I am Backing up exactly as I have done before. I have not made any changes in the way that I back up. As I have said before it only happens with some of the new movies that are out there.

sounds like the problem lies in your DVD player.

I doubt it has anything to do with his player, as I have the same problem as well, ONLY with the movies with the NEW encryption. I have a rather high end DVD player, as well as 2 of those cheapy play anything ones, and my PC. They burn fine, but do not play on any one of these players. It has something to do with the new encryption. Nothing else.
