I have a 712A,Premium and 716 Primary IDE Channel master- maxto Slave- 716A dual layer DVD Second IDE Channel Master-712A Slave- cdr premium I want to burn movies to the 716 and they are failing but when I had the 712 where the 716 is I was not having problems. what happened and what can I do do get it right. I also use all burners to burn CDR's and that works, I can burn three discs at the same time but don't get why the new Plextor 716A is failing when backing up a movie? What I want is to put the movie I want to back up in the 712 and use the 716 to burn the backup.
Hi. Mrlovkim, if you make the 716 the master and the 712 a slave (on the same cable) you should be able to get the job done..
