im very new to moding...and i would liek to know what does putting a mod chip into my x-box do. Like why do it. and how would go about being the easest way to do it, and get alot out of it, the cheapest most effective way to do it.
Then, I can tell you why I started doing this: for the fun of it; that's the most important part of it. xbox is basically an Intel-architecture personal computer customized to play games only. With a modchip or other means of modifying its booting characteristic, you can open up all the possibilities this xbox can do. For me, I used the xbox as my media center to play my collection of MP3 music files, slideshow of my digital pictures, and sometimes, watch movies; and of course, play Halo 2.
