is it possible to burn vcd on dvd with nero?

    do i need to download any program that would let me burn vcd onto dvd because every time it would asked me to replace the disc in my drive with a cd. but my files are big, if i cant burn vcd on dvd then how do i make the files smaller?

    The guide published in http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vcd_to_dvd-r.cfm doesn't use Nero. First, it converts the VCD movies (44.1 kHz audio) into DVD-compliant movies (48 kHz audio), then authors a DVD with SpruceUP or DVDIt.
    The problem is: [bold]find an authoring-DVD application which doesn't convert the MPEG-1 VCD movie into a MPEG-2 DVD movie[/bold] (or only 1 movie will fit on a DVD without gaining any quality, since you start from a VCD movie; probably the lame movie-encoding Nero was trying to do this).
    Sorry, I don't know the best applications to suggest you.
