need help...just bought a new dvd-rom and dvds will not play (lite-on 16 x)

    I just bought a lite-on dvd rom and i have dvdxcopy plat. and when i put a dvd in all i get is sound from the movie no picture or anything(i have windows media player) I tried it on multiple dvds...I'm trying to burn back-ups of my personal collection. Please Help..
    p.s. I have my lite-on dvd rom set as master and my sony dvd burner set as slave..

    When DVD XCopy is installed it looks for all of your drives at that time - not having it there it doesn't see it now . . . Uninstall it and then reinstall it to find both drives.
