I've been wanting to mod my xbox for some time, been trying to read up on everything I need to do to get that done but I'm a bit confused. I believe I have a v1.0 system, been reading alot of endorsements for ICE chip. Will this work on my system? Are there any pros or cons with the solder/solderless debate besides the chance of screwing up the soldering? Also, can anyone suggest a link or maybe explain what I'm suppose to next, ie. flashing the chip, ftp with what, setup? Thanks for any info you guys can provide, thanks
Yes the xenium ice will work on your system. I have a solderless in my v 1.1 and never have had one problem with it. Go to xbox-scene.com and click on the link at the top that says forum. Look in the FAQ section and Newbie section.You should find what you are looking for.
