I just purchased a Liteon 1633 model DVD burner. I have gotten 2 successful burns out of it. When I try to create a dvd now, it will transcode for approx. 1 hour or so, and then the whole computer locks up and a grey screen with a white line down the left/middle side appears. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
Let me add, I have 2.4ghz processer, nvidia gforce 2 (old school) 512mb ram. Every now and then a blue screen will come up with an error, I forget what it is. It is extremely frusterating though! Any help will do, thanks!
I guess you don't remember if the blue screen error was about anything to do with video. I'm leaning towards that video card but its still a wild guess at this point. Jerry
