Okay i got all the programs needed to join the two avis (Virtual Dub)........ but the problem now is...... when i select the second file i get an error that say the properties are different... it says something like Cannot Append Segment "C:/....ext": The Video streams have differnt data formats what can i do for this situation?
You can only join two avi's if they have the same video and audio properties. Otherwise you need to re-encode at least one half. They don't happen to use XviD for video do they? Because sometimes VDub won't let you join two XviD avi's, even though it should. You could try another app like AVIMuxGUI or updating XviD.
