Hi all, This is my first post, i'm a relative novice so please be patient. I use DVD Shrink and Nero to burn my DVd's. I use a Sony DVD RW DW-U10A Drive. Up to now i've had no problems burning onto Traxdata DVD-R X4 discs. I recently got some Traxdata DVD-R X8 discs and since then i've had a problem. When Nero starts to burn at 4X it comes up with an 'Power Calibration error' and aborts the burn. Am i using the wrong discs? when i go back to DVD-R X4 its OK. Told you i was a novice
What is the id on the discs. If you do not already have an id program try one of these: http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/ http://www.dvdinfopro.com/
Nero says its trying to burn a 4X (don't know how to change it) Only given the option to burn at 2.4X(3,312KB/S)
