Big.....Compuer Prob!! Please Help! NOW!!!!

    Hey guys my pc has been acting up lately........so anyways I go to make a cd today and it says no divice found.......im thinking.....ok....wtf. Oh it is probly just being gay......but the I went to my Computer and the drives were not there! I could not get windows Xp Home Ed. to reconize it? Wtf! well I started the pc up and hit f2 and aperantly it booted up there in bios..........but not in xp......on top of that, we have a virus and it it eating away stuff..........I cant back up anything!!!! I really need some help in getting my drives restored. I called Dell and they said I have to reinstall windows Xp. Well.......one huge d

    ..............I cant back anything up! And I've been working on a software program of mine own and modifying bios and all that 6 months of work will be gone. But, there is a little good news, I stopped the virus.................But I need my Drives.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLease HELP!

    yeah thats always dells answer to reformat LOL you can reinstall the drives make sure your using a good virse scan program as in NORTON or AVG. as a free one and a good spyware program . SPY SWEEPER and HIJACKTHIS are my fav. ones

    Just a note here:

    Do a hard drive to hard drive backup first before you do a re-install of windows. You could always go back into the other as a slave and copy your work to the primary later.
