copying dvd's with Xcopy

    WHY DO MY DVD COPIES STOP ABOUT 10 TIMES DURING PLAYBACK? I USE XCOPY

    Could be several things--first thing to try is better media--like Ritek, Taiyo Yuden, Sony or Verbatim. Why use x-copy when there is free siftware right here that is much better--try DVD Shrink and DVD Decryptor--both are fairly easy to use and end result much better

    And for XCopy questions you need to use the XCopy forum.

    Your problem could be one or two things.

    1) Your media is faster than 4x, or is flat out cheap media (don't know which brand your using)

    2) Your using a newer burner w/ updated firmware and it's burning faster than 4x (even if your using 4x media)

    Do what Whitfield says and try Shrink and Decrypter.
