where i can find drivers for cd-r?

    I need driver(or solution) to on/off cd-r motor when I need it and also on/off laser of cd-r when I need it.

    Anyone know something about this?

    Suggest first place to try is the drive manufacturer / rebadger for possible solution.
    A search in a shareware site, ie: Tucows or ZDnet may also be useful.

    I have never heard of software turning laser on/off, or not even motor on/off. Programs like Nero Speed will give you the possibility to adjust spindown time, but I don't think that's what you are after.

    I am curious - what do you need this for? Perhpas you should access the drive directly via ASPI, but that requires some programming.
