Okay so I had just installed DVD2Xbox on my system and I was going to burn Halo onto my harddrive for modding when my xbox couldn't find the DVD! Actually any game I put in there now it won't connect! Im getting really worry, anyone got a fix? PS: I uninstalled DVD2Xbox, still same problem...
Correction to what I wrote about any game I put in there won't register in Evox. Concidentaly the MS Dashboard can detect the games but claims that all my games are Unregonizable.
Did this happen after you modded your xbox or just when you installed evox? It's possible that you need to edit your evox.ini file and add "autoadd "d:" or something like that. I'm not sure on that, so don't add it yet, but it's probably that.
Okay this happened after I modded my xbox, I have my evox.ini and I can edit it if you have a command you think work.
Item "Play Game or Media from DVDROM Drive",ID_Launch_DVD Section "Play Games from HD" { Line "- Games on the Hard Drive -",2 AutoAddItem "E:\GAMES\" AutoAddItem "E:\HDDLoader\" AutoAddItem "f:\GAMES\" AutoAddItem "f:\HDDLoader\" SortAll } Above will work if you copied you game to f:\GAMES directory.
I'm afraid this didn't fix my problem although I am willing to do a restore on my C: drive, can I get a list of everything Slayers Evox related stuff to delete, but while leaving the UDE Hack alone? Heres my C: drive... Audio: f0nts: Skin: Trainers: Xboxdashdata...: xodash: xtf_backup: bert.xtf dualboot.exe ernie.xtf evox.ini evoxdash.xbe msdash.xbe s.xtf Xbox Book.bak Xbox.bak Xboxdash.save xboxdash.xbe Plz help, if uninstally doesn't work, ill need to take it into MS and if evidence is on HDD warranty will be useless
evox.ini and evoxdash.xbe are clearly evox dash related files. However, it appears to me that you are still using the stock hdd. You do not have space in your hdd to copy Halo onto your hdd if that is the case.
well I no longer have this problem, however Halo would fit snuggly on my E: drive which retains 4.71 gigs of space left
