Hi all, I have been looking at getting a HDTV for about a month now and would like your opinions on a few things. I have been looking at projections because of the cost:size ratio. I am looking to spend [bold]around[/bold] $1000, possibly a little more. I am looking at this Akai: http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/110691/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do#tabs I work at Circuit City so I could probably get a really good deal on it. Most of the reviews are good on CC's website, but there is not any good reviews anywhere else. I know that Akai is a rebranded Samsung, which is good in my eyes, but I just want to know if there is anything else in that price range that may be a better choice. Also, while i'm at it, I have been looking at getting a HTIB setup to go with it, and have found good reviews on this sony setup: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Sony.../sem/rpsm/oid/89605/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do Does anyone have personal experience with this package? It sounded good in the store, but it is hard to tell in such an open space. Sorry about the long post, TIA for your help.
