There are plenty of threads dealing with your question. Run a forum search for Sims 2, like you should've in the first place ;), and you'll find all the info you need.

Aye, a fellow Plex Premium owner - this'll be a piece of cake then. I backed up Doom 3 which also uses SafeDisc 3.20.022 using Alcohol 120% and BlindWrite 4.57.

For A120 I used the SafeDisc 2/3 profile and set both the read and write speed to 4X. The copy needs no emulation but it takes a little longer to verify than I care for.

My best copy was made with BlindWrite 4.57 - it verifies just as quick as the original does. I have screenshots of the settings needed if you want them :)

Normally the image is read to the hard drive then written back to the disc with the option to delete the image afterwards. I usually keep the image since not every attempt works and I like the ability to run the image off the hard drive with Daemon Tools :) Here are the pics for BW 4.57.

Not as of yet. CloneCD may be able to but every time I installed it all my SafeDisc games wouldn't run so I can't vouch for it.

That's because the screenshots are for 4.57 which is the one that works good for SafeDisc 3.20.022. BW5 has trouble with that version of SafeDisc. You can get BW 4.57 here:

used bw4.5 with the settings you gave.no good.i used the plextor premium.i also tryed bw 5.0.with the same results.i also tryed clonecd and a120.no good.i was reading another thread named safedisc 3.20 backups a success.with you and shoey.you guys were talking about the varirec write technology on the premium.should i adjust the settings on that or leave it at the default settings?shoey also used the padus discjuggler.is that program any good?and if it is do you know the settings on that.i know there is a lot questions in here.(sorry).but i am getting very frustrated trying to get a good copy.do you have any other settings for bw 4.5? i really appreciate your help on this and on the other threads i have posted.

Are you sure you had all the settings exactly as shown? There's no reason you shouldn't have a working copy using those settings and a Plex Premium - I made several during testing. I haven't used DiscJuggler much so I couldn't really sau if it works well or not.

i hope someone can help! i have tried all differnt settings with blindwrite and other duplicator programs.and i still cant get a copy that works.on blindwrite it has an option to verify the image and i do that and i have a couple of uncorrectable read errors.is that normal or not? i just bought the plextor premium.i am beggining to think it may be a bad drive. any help will be appreciated

BWA files are only applicable to SecuROM protected games. I honestly don't know what to tell you at this point because those exact settings for BW 4.57 and a Plex Premium are dynamite on SafeDisc 3.20.022. You may give Alcohol 120% a shot with the SafeDisc 2/3 profile with the read and write speeds set to 4X.

Will your drive burn other files without a problem?
