should i ignore the .mds file completely?

after unzipping a game i got two extensions, one .mdf and another .mds.. my understanding is to convert the .mdf file and then burn it with decryptor, is this correct?

Well actually you don't have to convert anything. Mdfs are files used by Alcohol 120%.
The only thing you have to do is to download the program, find the crack ;), and burn your cd/dvds.

If it is a dvd image, you can burn the .mds image with DVD Decrypter.
