STARVIEW UPDATING FIRMWARE - NO CODE BEGGING HERE

Sorry for not having the patience to read the full thread to find an answer to my question but, I'm having hassle with my starview & starview 3 boxes, channels have gone awol from both. Is this a common problem on Irish N*L network & if so, whats the most simple fix? Thanks in advance.

 

just rescan your channels back in again and you should be sorted also make sure you have the cable not going thru a splitter when you are scanning and the cable is in the cable input on your box

lads just updated my SV3 with the latest GTromloader supr 705e and all looks well channel wise so thanks for that. Just curious as when looking at procedure for downloading it was to do with GTromloader ver4 for the s/w and asked that you also download cryptstar_v1.4 firmware. This option doesn't seem to be available on the 705 version. Just seems to give u an option for channel dumps, so will my SV3 be ok without this firmware update or do i need to use the ver 4 GTromloader which will allow me to put this crypstar_v1.4 genuine firmware on

 

the super uses an all in one so you dont need a separate bin file.

 

The v-1.4 is for the sv1 only
The 705e is exactly what you need for the sv3.

If you have downloaded the 7.05eE onto your Starview 3 The Box Super then that is all you need to do (combined loader and firmware), the other you are talking about is for SV 1 and no need for you to bother about.

what box you got where are you and what firmware did you put on it?

 

Can anyone tell me how to open bin files,computer wont allow me to as it says it doesnt know the programme which created it.Ive down loaded softwar which said it would enable this but no joy.heeelllppp

 

you need winrar which you can get from eamo's library so you should have a gt rom loader and a bin file and the winrar will open the file for you.http://www.4shared.com/dir/3042613/f6e3421c/sharing.html...hope this helps
