hi, i downloaded a game from a programme and it came as a TAR file. I installed WINRAR and unpacked the file. it has 2 cd folders. I want to burn each cd folder to a seperate disc e.g folder cd1 to a sepertae cd than folder cd2. but when i do using nero, as an bootable image the folder just comes up. i cant do anything with it then except fot explore it. I would really appreciate it as i knwo there are some computer geniuses out theer. iw ant the game to boot up like a normal game. Thanks. Deepak.
why do you need it to boot up? Can you just find the setup files and install it..then you won;t need it to boot up.
sorry me again allt he files inside the cd1 folder are called dev-sca4a and all the same sze, is this file messed up or corrupted!?
I'm not sure what .tar files are, but look here: http://www.gnu.org/software/tar/tar.html http://directory.fsf.org/tar.html It looks like you need to get some software to get the files you need.
