I just got anchorman and envy tonight. worked just fine using 3.2. Saw worked just fine using 3.2 with menus and extra's...so my ? is this. if I can why cant alot of you? Im not saying im the best at this but for some reason I havent had any troubles doing this burning at all. and then when im reading half of these posts on here with people having troubles with dics that I have it just makes me wonder why are you all having so many problems doing this? maybe the toothpaste is affecting some judgements? i dont know. Is burning your backups onto another DVD primarily based on your pc specs? window OS? I dont have nothing fancy powerful enough nothing great. that was my ? sorry.
Considering the fact that everyone's PC is nearly unique as far as the hardware used, software installed and system settings it's not at all hard to understand why some folks have trouble. I suggest you drop the toothpaste subject and make this your last pointless rant.
As Neph says, the permutations possible with all of the hardware on sale makes PCs very idiosynchratic. To have 2 rants on 2 threads is not endearing to ones' peers. It also shows a lack of respect to all involved. Live & learn I guess! Kind regards, Pulsar

Sickman, are you capable of holding an adult conversation without resorting to abuse? Can you read? In my sig I have listed an FX5600 as my graphics card. OK, not the best, but at least I have a reasonable command of the English language. Your lack of knowledge in computers, as well as grammar, is simply astounding. lack of computers is astounding...???..how do you know its astounding or not? heres my specs on two machines one just for gaming because im a pro gamer the other just to fondle. pentium 3.6 "915" mobo 2 gigs mushkin geforce 6800GT 550 power supply,6 fans seagate 200gig now thats just for gaming... pc #2 Amd 64 3400 mobo abit kv8 pro 1 gig ddr 400 9800 pro sony internal 16x dvd burner. now then you list your specs and think its good im not SAYING its not. but my question is why do you think he/she doesnt know computers? my second question to you is I can set you up with 2 games that I personally get sponsored in and we can see how good you really are. otherwise im sick of you people saying how great you think you are and with the knowledge of computers. We all started out not knowing anything did we not? now all of a sudden everybody thinks there the best. put your money where your mouth is. just because you can burn a dvd good doesnt make you better. you people are !@#$!@#!!! i get paid to play games and thats about all I do. im a pro gamer doesnt mean i rule. think about that. and you people need 8 other people to back one up? sickman1 dont worry about it.
Ive been a member of this forum for over a year, and ive posted well over 1000 times, and have read 3x that many threads,and not once, have I ever seen anyone making such a statement. This person Sickman1,has been abusive, and foul mouthed, on several threads in the past.Which explains why hes no longer a member on this forum. You need to get your facts straight, before trying to start a flame war. I see on another thread that you said you hate these forums,so why are you still here? I realize what i may have said earlier wasnt that greatest thing. I APOLOGIZE. I happen to live in the real world as well. I have a family. I support them i send them off to school and i make sure the bills are paid. I dont find anything Sickman1 typed offensive. maybe re-read what the person was saying. heres a clue. if she/he/they/them/it hasnt had any problems burning movies why is everybody else having problems?....I dont know. Sickmans second question happened to be does it depend on the persons pc? there specs. why sickman1 ask that? because maybe just maybe if everybody list's there specs does it depend on there hardware configuration?...good question...not dumb at all! What made me feel weird was everybody ganged up on Sickman1 and basically told him/her/he/she/they/it to basically STFU! And if Sickman1 isnt using toothpaste to clean the dvd's or whatever could that be the solution as well.?
