Wondering if I can snip the yellow wires leading the xbox dvd drive to the power and snip the 4 wires in my computes power supply outlet and hook the xbox dvd drive into my computer buy connecting the yellow power supply wires to the pc? or is there any other way. I've searched around seen someone else has asked this question but never got an answer let me know :-D
If you don't know anything about electronics I wouldn't advise this since there are many things to consider, such as how much voltage (watts so on) is going into the dvd drive and then how much of the same is coming out of your power supply on you pc. Then you must find out which cables are good, which cables put out V and which ones take in and so on, so it's a pretty tidous effort but if you knew what you were doing you really wouldn't need help unless you needed/wanted to see if it has been done. good luck, Degalle
