Can anbody tell me if the limitation in the 208 only writing to +rw disks and not +r disks a hardware issue or is it a restriction in the firmware? Thanks
dvdrw208 will not write to dvd+r like it was supposed to even with firmware upgrades. Internal chip had to be replaced so philips was trading the new 228 to customers who were led to believe their claim of burning dvd+r
