Can anybody tell me how to enhance VCD material? I use Tmpgenc, but should I convert the MPEG1 to Mpeg2? And what about resolutions, filters, de-interlacing and bitrate?

If the quality of the Mpeg1 is good, can I e.g. convert it to SVCD format, or even better?

Please, it is a TS in VCD-format, and I have seen custom DVDr's who is made with TS material..

Where can I go but this forum for help? There is allways a answer to my threads..

    Pleeze, reply..

One you have VCD material, you have MPEG-1 compression with all of its limitation. Recompressing to another format will never yield in better quality.
