It would be very helpful if the search could drill down to the post containing the search term, instead of having to wade through every post to find what you're looking for. Thanks!
It does. The "Hits: 1 2 ..." does it, click the number and it will take you to the first post in that thread containing the searched term/s, second post, third post, etc...
You are actually correct, however after looking at the first hit, can't seem to get to the list of hits again using browser's back button. Does this work for you? It pulls up "cannot be found" page.
sorry if I'm hijacking here, but had a suggestion for the search.... The search offers the ability to search for a term/phrase or posts by a member. Could it be possible to combine the two capabilities and search for a term/phrase by a specific member? This would be helpful in finding posts by a certain member which yields more than 100 results. thanks...
