I have made an easy Xbox hard drive format disc, it will automatically partion and format your drive with no problems. Also a disc which will install Evolution X and all software needed, including XBMC. So easy to use any noob can do it. Kinda like Slayers but better I feel. I also have made disc with Emulators including a disc with MameoX which will launch from your DVD-Rom and play. Even got a disc full of Evox Skins, many I have custom made myself and game copy software. I been modding Xboxs for years and believe I know alot so you guys can hit me up. My email is, canmodbutcantreadforumrules@afterdawn.com I know anything from custom hardware mods to software mods pretty much.
Neuro, could you possible help with my question in this thread? http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/172004 would your evolutionx install disc be a solution?
My Evo X DVD's will format a new harddrive making all partion folders. The Recovery DVD will re-write anything on a hard drive and make it like new or ready to install Evo X. The Install DVD will install all MS launch menus, and Evolution X. I have never used Unleash before, as I only like Evo X but using Evo X you should be able to connect your box to the PC with no problems by following simple instructions.
Well that's just the problem, I CAN'T network my box to my PC... I believe my Motherboard (or at least the built-on ethernet) is bad. I plan on sticking my retail hard drive on the shelf, thus preserving the critical stuff, but since I can't network I am looking for a way to build the HD completely from scratch... is that possible or not?
well that may be what I end up doing. I just looked at my XBOX C: however, looking for the eeprom.bin file to see if I could put it on my Memcard and get it to my pc with my AR max USB reader, and I can't even find the eeprom.bin file! I installed the softmod using softmod installer deluxe/mechassault exploit, and I used the option to backup my original C: Where is the eeprom.bin?
thanks for the help, I will use config magic to get the eeprom.bin I am now able to network (I found an ethernet card out of a junk comp at work) and now have no problem accessing the XBOX via FTP.
