Please help... DVD burner does not burn to any DVD media

    Hi,

    I have a Liteon SOHW-1633S and I have tried different brands of dvd's Verbatim etc but I cannot seem to burn to dvd as it get please insert a writable disk or the current media is full.I tried going to the website of liteon and loading the latest firmware but still no joy. I have no problem with burning to any brand of CD

    Can anyone advise?

    You may have a bum drive. Have you tried the drive in another PC?

    I just wanted to check if anyone had any other ideas before I went down this route. I will give this ago.
