Hi, Ive ripped a straight copy of a type 5 DVD which was only a couple of gigs in content so it fit on a blank disc without the need for reducing. I used DVD Decrypter in ISO mode to burn an image of the disc and it all went fine - until it came to playback as its now in black and white when I try to play it on my domestic player. I thought it might be the brand of media so I tried a different one but thats exactly the same. Any ideas?

Playing in black and white sounds to me like it's a region problem. What dvd are you trying to rip(region?) is your tv pal or ntsc? Bit more info please.

The discs that I burn are all regions (according to IFOEdit) so surely they should play in my region two player. This is also the case if I recode a DVD9 to fit on a 5 disc. If it is the regional coding how do I author the disc to be a specific region as opposed to all regions?
