Compatability Query

    Would a DVD recorded on an English machine be able to be played on a DVD player in the US?

    should be ok aslong as its region free and ntsc

    only issue is that region 2 (uk) is PAL

    it might not work on US tv as we have quite a few more lines of pixels (and better quality image too :))

    my tv and vcr and dvd player can all handle NTSC tho - so you may be ok.

    525 lines = NTSC
    625 lines = PAL

    so technically i guess you would be losing 100 lines being squashed up.. ?
