emulating .ps2 and elf files

    I am trying to emulate Devil May Cry 3 (Original Disk) on my PC, nothing seems to be working, I have tried using mulitple emulators and it keeps asking for a .ps2 file or elf file, i tried executing it as a SLUE but it still does not work, any suggestions? I want to run my PS2 games off my computer.
