i'm trying to copy pre-recorded programs from one video to another, but can't seem to make it work. i hook my rca cords from output to input, i've tried putting the playing machine on video and line but nothing works. does anyone know what step i am missing? thanks_X_X_X_X_X_[small]marty[/small]
Macromedia Copy Protection may be the source of your pain. This is an analog system that, as far as I can tell, stuffs giberish into the spaces between video frames, preventing direct deck to deck dubbing. I guess the idea is that you'll wear out your movie and have to buy a new one. The SIMA color colorection Pro series - a box you put in between VHS decks has been claimed by some to help, but I can't vouch for it. Perhaps someone could recomend a software / computer fix.
