non video data to DVD

    I would like to back up some RAW photo files to a DVD-RW or R. Is there a way to do it? Every time I try XP tells me I have to save it to a CD which does not have the amount of space I need.

    Do you have a DVD burner? If you do, you have to use a program such as Nero Burning ROM.

    I do have a DVD. Can I down load such a program?

    Don't use XP's burning engine, if that's what you're trying to do. That sucks. Use whatever software that came with your burner and burn as a data file. I'm not positive on whether or not there's a limit to the number of files you can put on a disc, but I guess that might be a problem if that limit exists.
