Inverted Movies

    I am trying to back up movies to DVD-R that i have downloaded from a peer to peer site.

    I am Using Nero 6 and most of them are avi files.

    when i try to play them, they are inverted, no sound or have no picture.

    Please help as i cant afford to waste another 121 discs trying.

    Hi there,

    I had a few .AVI files that either I would see a picture without sound, or have sound and no pictures.

    I think it's because they have been encoded differently and I was missing some CODECS for my player.

    All I did was convert them to DVD with VSO DivXtoDVD and then burned them to DVD+RW and watch then on my TV.

    Then I had sound/picture.
